Pichanga (Kick Around)

Our love of football has inspired many beginnings of projects that we’ve had to move to the back burner as life takes over. We’ve examined the social effects of football on immigrants to the UK, through The Mini Mundial (1998) a tournemant held in London to co-incide with the world cup, where 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation immigrants form ‘national’ teams. We’ve experienced the joy of all nationalities filling the streets and squares of Paris in 1998 to watch the world cup games on giant screens. global travels have revealed football pitches in clearings in the rain forests and on ledges in mountain ranges.
